At Mansel Park Primary we have a special assembly everyday. Assemblies follow the SEAL themes but also reflect special times/festivals that happen during year as well as events in the news.
On a Monday we have a whole school assembly led by one of the Senior Leaders or a special visitor. At this assembly we celebrate excellent attendance and punctuality. Every half term there is also a 'Star Pupil' assembly for KS1 and KS2 where parents are invited to attend.
On a Tuesday and a Wednesday we have 'Singing' assemblies led by our Music Leader.
Fortnightly, on a Wednesday and a Thursday there are special key stage assemblies led by all the teachers celebrating the excellent learning that is going on in class. When these are not taking place, assemblies are held in classroom.
On a Friday we have 'Celebration' assembly led by the Leadership Team. At this assembly we celebrate star pupils of the week, Golden Ticket children, children who have achieved their 'good behaviour' badges and times tables badges and any other things we need to celebrate!
Finally, every class has to lead a special assembly once in the year, celebrating the learning they have been doing. Parents are also invited to this assembly.
