PE and sport premium allocation for 2016-17

Sports Premium funding received - £9,462


We are planning to spend the money in the following ways:


  • The school funds all After School Clubs on offer for all children, to ensure they can access enrichment for free

  • Lunchtime clubs provided by KiddiActive and Testlands Multisport

  • CPD for teachers to ensure sports provision is of high quality

  • Sport Solent Partnership enabling us to develop young sports ambassadors to promote sport across the school

  • Sport Solent Partnership providing extra - curricular sports activities such as; dance mats and a school games day

  • Supporting and attending regular sport festivals and tournaments for pupils throughout the school

  • Buying resources to encourage and support our involvement in competitive sports

  • Funding 10 sessions of swimming for Year 5 children to help develop and improve their swimming and water confidence at Oaklands Swimming Pool.
