At Mansel Park Primary we have a special assembly everyday. We use these as an opportunity to promote the spiritual, moral, social and cultural understanding of our children.
We have a whole school assembly led by a member of our Senior Leadership Team. We are really lucky as we have special visitors for these assemblies i.e local charities police officers, inspirational speakers SAM (our attendance mascot) and many more.
We have a class assembly where the children discuss current news and our school council initiatives.
We have a singing assembly for the whole school, which the children love! We match actions to songs too so that everyone can get involved.
Our children enjoy House Assembly's on this day which is led by the teachers who are assigned to each house. This is a great opportunity for the children to interact with their siblings and children from other year groups. We use this time to discuss our key team characteristics and what it means as well as to promote our half termly sport, knowledge and charity competitions (Please check our House Competitions page for the latest information).
We have celebration Assembly led by our Senior Leadership Team. This assembly we celebrate 'Star Pupils of the Week', 'Best Attendance' (class & house), Reading (class & individual) and any other celebrations!
