Busy Bee

In Busy Bee, the children have loved exploring their new role-play areas including the Tiger Who Came to Tea house, the school, an outside café and a doctor’s surgery. They have been using their experiences from both in and out of school to direct their conversations whilst playing with one another.

Morning Rotations

Already this term, Year R have loved writing their family trees. The children loved discussing all the different people in their family and sharing this with the other children. We have also been reading The Tiger Who Came to Tea’ in writing this week, ready to write an invitation for their own tea party! The children have also enjoyed learning about floating and sinking. Therefore, they have been experimenting with different objects and materials to talk about what they can see. In Maths, we have been learning about subitising and the time. Ask us to tell you what months our birthdays are and what day of the week it is. Furthermore, the children have also had fun in art where they have been carefully selecting shapes for a specific purpose within their drawing. They have been exploring various tools and deciding which ones work best for their drawing and which are their favourite.
