Year 3 School Trip:

Year 3 recently had an exciting trip to Southampton Art Gallery and the SeaCity Museum!

At the Art Gallery, we explored a range of beautiful sculptures and learned how artists use shape and texture to bring their work to life. Inspired by what we saw, we then had the chance to get creative and make our own clay sculptures of heads – everyone showed fantastic focus and imagination!

Afterwards, we headed to the SeaCity Museum where we explored the fascinating exhibitions and learned more about the history of Southampton. The children were full of questions and really enjoyed discovering new facts about the city and its past.

It was a fantastic day full of art, history, and hands-on learning!
