What a busy but exciting start the Year 2 children have had!

They have all settled in brilliantly and are ready for the new academic year. In English, the children have been recreating some spectacular medicines inspired by George’s Marvellous Medicine. They carefully included verbs to instruct George on what to do, along with some fantastic descriptions of the ingredients that would (hopefully!) change Grandma for the better!

In Maths, the children have been working hard on partitioning numbers into tens and ones in different ways.

We are so proud of their enthusiasm, creativity, and all the wonderful learning they’ve shown so far.
