House Competition:

Welcome Back!

We’re excited to kick off a new term filled with fun and engaging house competitions for all our children. These events are a fantastic way for every child to get involved, showcase their skills, and work together as part of their house team.

Knowledge Competition
This term’s knowledge competition will challenge the children with a variety of brain-boosting activities, including word searches, number puzzles, and mazes. There will be plenty of opportunities for the children to practice beforehand, helping them feel confident and ready for our house competition at the end of the term.

Charity Focus

Our charity focus will be our Pages and PJs event on the 23rd of May, where the children will come to school in their favourite cosy PJs and listen to stories from different teachers around the school. This is to raise money for the Children's Hospital Pyjamas Charity!

Sports Competition
With Sports Day just around the corner, our focus for this term’s sports competition will be on preparing for track events. The children will be practicing during PE sessions to get ready for the big day – a highlight of the school year!

Reminders
Please continue encouraging your child to read at home at least five times a week and bring in their Reading Diaries. This not only supports their learning but also earns valuable house tokens. At the end of the year, the house with the most tokens will win a special prize!

Our house system is a wonderful way for children to develop teamwork, commitment, and school spirit. Let’s make this term a great one!
