Nursery has met a new Mr Men character recently, Mr Adventure! He now visits and helps the children to develop an understanding of how to create a happy and healthy world. Look at our friend trying to rescue the sealife from plastic pollution in our sea themed water tray.

Our 2 year old friends have been exploring 'Summer'. We now know that we need to wear a sunhat and sunscreen to stay safe in the sun, plus we need to drink water to keep us safe too.

Our 3 and 4 year old friends are trying really hard to understand rhyming and match rhyming words together. You could continue this development at home by encouraging them to link rhyming words, for example 'Frog matches with Dog' 'Ball matches with Wall' 'Cat/Hat' 'Bug/Rug' 'Tail/Snail' 'Star/Car'. Sometimes we even make up a rhyming word that links with our name, for example 'Sam/Bam' Abi/Pabbie'.
