Year 6 blog, day 4:

Fun in the Sun!

What an incredible day we've had on our residential!

We started the morning with a delicious continental breakfast, with pancakes and fresh fruit to fuel us for another action-packed day. Before heading off to our first activities, we enjoyed a lively dance party in the garden, which certainly woke everyone up and got us smiling!

For our morning adventures, the group split in two. Half of us headed to the beach to enjoy a variety of fun games by the sea, while the other half challenged themselves with climbing and sailing. It was fantastic to see everyone encouraging one another, trying new things, and building their confidence.

After lunch, it was time for one of our favourite activities of the week—rafting! Everyone embraced the adventure, working together to paddle along the river, with plenty of splashing, laughter, and teamwork along the way. Dressed in our helmets and life jackets, we had an unforgettable time on the water.

Following a well-earned shower, we made the most of the beautiful sunshine by enjoying a delicious BBQ dinner outside. It was the perfect way to relax before our final evening activity—a scavenger hunt! The children worked brilliantly in their teams, searching for clues and making lots of wonderful memories together.

As this is our final night, we packed our bags and got everything ready for our last day. It's hard to believe how quickly the week has flown by! We are all looking forward to making the most of our final day in the sunshine before heading home with lots of stories to share.
