Year 6 blog, day 3:
What an action-packed third day we've had!
This morning, everyone took on the high ropes, and we were so proud to see every single child give it a go. It was fantastic to watch them challenge themselves, encourage one another, and show such determination and bravery high above the ground.
After a well-earned lunch, the groups split up for the afternoon's activities. One group headed to the river for an exciting kayaking session, learning new skills and enjoying time on the water. Meanwhile, the other groups tested their aim in archery before tackling the assault course, where teamwork, resilience, and plenty of laughter were on full display!
Dinner was a favourite for many, with a delicious curry night giving everyone the chance to refuel after a busy day.
To round off another fantastic day, we enjoyed out on the field. From giant games of hide and seek to the ever-popular scream race, there was lots of running, laughing, and making memories with friends.
As the sun began to set, we finished the evening with a peaceful walk back, taking in the beautiful scenery before heading off to bed, ready to rest for another exciting day of adventures tomorrow!
