Nursery blog:
Over the past three weeks, the Nursery children have been having a wonderful time exploring the season of Autumn and all the exciting activities it brings.
We’ve enjoyed discovering our Autumn treasures and a big thank you to all the parents who helped us gather such a fantastic variety! Our outdoor adventures included a leaf hunt around the school grounds, creative play with the fallen leaves and rolling pumpkins instead of balls! We also made firework scenes both indoors and outdoors, used scarves to express firework sounds through dance, along with many other fun activities.
This week, we’ve been busy learning five new rhymes in celebration of World Nursery Rhyme Week. The rhymes we’ve been singing are: Humpty Dumpty, Two Little Dickie Birds, Sing a Song of Sixpence, I Hear Thunder, and When I Was One. You can find links to each song in the November newsletter—these rhymes are being both sung and signed.
