Reading Ambassador blog:

Our Reading Ambassadors recently enjoyed an exciting visit to Southampton Central Library. The librarians welcomed us and explained how the library is organised and run. The children asked brilliant questions and learned a lot about what happens behind the scenes.

We then met the Schools Library Service team, who showed us a fantastic range of new books. Our ambassadors got to choose some titles to borrow for our school library, thinking carefully about what their classmates would enjoy.

The children also explored the different floors of the library. It was an inspiring trip, and our Reading Ambassadors returned full of ideas and excitement for promoting reading in our school!
