Year 6 Students Prepare for Secondary School with IntoUniversity.
Our Year 6 pupils recently took part in an engaging and informative workshop led by visitors from IntoUniversity, designed to help them feel more confident and prepared for their transition to secondary school.
Moving from primary to secondary school is an exciting milestone, but it can also bring questions and concerns. During the session, pupils had the opportunity to discuss what secondary school might be like, explore the differences they can expect, and share any worries they may have about the move.
The IntoUniversity team provided practical advice on topics such as managing a timetable, making new friends, staying organised, and adapting to a larger school environment. Through interactive activities and discussions, pupils were encouraged to think positively about the opportunities that secondary school will offer.
The workshop helped our students develop confidence and resilience while reinforcing the skills they will need to succeed in the next stage of their education. Pupils were actively engaged throughout the session and demonstrated a mature and thoughtful approach to discussing their future.
We would like to thank IntoUniversity for delivering such a valuable and inspiring session leaving Year 6 feeling confident about their transition next term.
